Festival of
Rajasthan’s Living Roots

With Deepawali – the festival of lights and gaiety – round the corner, a wave of festivity and celebration sweeps across India.

During this period of merriment, Momasar, a small town in Shekhawati region in Rajasthan, comes alive with a festival like no other… a festival of Rajasthan’s living roots.

The 2-day Momasar Utsav brings together over 200 artists and craftsmen from different parts of Rajasthan in a unique celebration of folk traditions.

This not-for-profit festival is jointly organized by the local residents of Momasar and the Jajam Foundation.

The second edition of the festival, held on 19-20 October 2019, enthralled the folk-art lovers from far and wide yet again. The third edition was scheduled to be held on 30-31 October 2020, but had to be postponed due to the pandemic.
